About Us
Natchitoches Parish Council on Aging (NPCOA) is a non-profit agency under the Natchitoches Area Agency on Aging, dedicated to improving the lives of older adults aged 60+. The agency serves as the designated parish agency overseeing the planning and development of a comprehensive community based system of services designated to meet the needs of older adults and their caregivers.
Since 1969, NPCOA has provided no-cost services to some of the most in-need seniors in our parish. As this population grows, it is of utmost importance that this demographic is well-cared for by knowledgeable, professional, caring and well-trained individuals. Our employees and volunteers become trusted advocates to our communities’ older adults. That is the reason why every employee & volunteer undergoes a full background screening.

to promote the well-being and enhance the quality of life for senior citizens of Natchitoches Parish by providing activities & services that encourage independence, promote physical and mental health and continued participation in the community.
