Your gift helps keep NPCOA members healthy, happy, and connected to the community through a variety of programs and services the Natchitoches Parish Council on Aging offers.

Your Donation can help us provide:

There are many ways to give back to those in our local community who have already given so much throughout their lives.

You can donate in memory of or in tribute to a special person on a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. These donations will be recognized with an acknowledgement to the family or the individual you are honoring.

You can make a donation through planned giving in your will or a trust. Donations may include cash, real estate, insurance benefits, or other assets. Please let your attorney know of your desire to donate.

You can also donate your time by becoming a NPCOA volunteer!

NPCOA donations are tax deductible.

Please check with your tax adviser.
The agency is a 501 3(c) Corporation.

Sometimes our donors don’t realize the importance of their donations. Monetary donations are very much appreciated but even a fan can be life-changing during the heat of our Louisiana summers. The impact that our donors have is tremendous in helping to meet the needs of over 500+ families in Natchitoches Parish.

Testimonials

“The parish COA has provided free exercise classes for my husband and I that were not available anywhere else. We have met lovely people through the exercise classes and the office staff is very friendly and accommodating.  Zoom classes provided during the pandemic were fabulous! ”  – Sharon W.

“I knew that I was going to need help to get full use of my shoulder and knee back. Thank heaven for S.A.I.L.!!! Not only has my balance improved but also the strength and flexibility in my right side are so much better than when I began. In addition, I’m learning to slow down and watch how I move so I won’t fall, again.”  – Ellen H.

“I had three different health professionals look at the X-ray of my shoulder that had arthritis and a 2 1/2” bone spur.  All three said I was probably facing a complete shoulder replacement. To strengthen and enhance mobility I began taking SAIL classes, chair yoga, Tia chi, and line dancing at the COA. Due in part to my improved muscle tone I am not going to have a shoulder replacement but arthroscopy surgery which is much less evasive.” – Debbie W.
